Doctoral Research

I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Hull exploring parents' lived experiences of maternity investigations following perinatal death.

My research examines how bereaved families experience the investigation process, including communication, involvement, relationships with investigators, the investigation report and the search for answers following perinatal death.

The research aims to inform how maternity investigations work with and support families, translating families' experiences into meaningful learning for maternity safety and investigation practice.
